Efficient service delivery is at the core of the State Department for Roads' commitment to fostering public trust, accountability, and citizen satisfaction.
In line with this commitment, the Director of Administration, Mr. Anyumba, officially opened a capacity-building workshop on Service Charter and Complaints Handling. The training brings together committee representatives from KURA, KeRRA, and KeNHA, alongside officers from the roads directorates, including MTRD, MTD, and QAD.
In his remarks, Mr. Anyumba emphasized that the workshop is a critical initiative that directly supports the Government’s commitment to delivering efficient, transparent, and citizen-centred services.
The training is specifically designed for members of the Citizens’ Service Delivery Charter (CSDC) and Complaints Handling Committees, equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to uphold service standards, enhance customer experience, and ensure the timely resolution of public concerns.
His call to action underscored the importance of collaboration among road sector institutions in building a responsive and accountable public service culture that meets the needs and expectations of citizens.
