High-Level Inter-Ministerial Meeting Charts Way Forward for Kenya–China Strategic Infrastructure Cooperation

Principal Secretary for Roads, Eng. Joseph M. Mbugua, today joined an Inter-Ministerial meeting in Nairobi to fast-track the implementation of bilateral agreements between Kenya and China.
The high-level session, chaired by Foreign Affairs Principal Secretary Korir SingOei, reviewed progress on key outcomes of the 2025 State Visit to China by H.E. William Ruto and explored ways of strengthening coordination among ministries to accelerate strategic infrastructure and economic cooperation projects.
The meeting reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to deepening Kenya–China cooperation and ensuring that the agreed development priorities translate into tangible progress for the country.
