PS Eng. Joseph Mbugua Reaffirms Government Commitment to Road Infrastructure Development.
Principal Secretary, Eng. Joseph Mbugua, today received a courtesy call from the Member of Parliament for Mbeere North Constituency, Hon. Leonard Wamuthende, in a meeting focused on strengthening collaboration in infrastructure development within the region.
Discussions centred on the status of ongoing road construction works as well as planned projects aimed at improving connectivity across Mbeere North. The engagement underscored the Government’s prioritisation of modern, reliable road networks as a catalyst for socio-economic growth.
During the meeting, the Principal Secretary reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to advancing road infrastructure in Mbeere North and across the country, noting that improved road networks are critical to enhancing seamless connectivity, facilitating trade, improving access to social services, and unlocking economic opportunities for local communities.
He further emphasised that sustained investment in infrastructure remains a key pillar in the Government’s development agenda, geared towards promoting regional integration and inclusive growth.
